El conteo especial dedicado a los artistas que solo tuvieron un éxito en la década de los 80's, "Los 100 Más Grandiosos One Hit Wonders De Los 80's".
Este conteo fue conducido por Judah Friedlander, y consta de 5 programas de 5 horas cada uno, emitidos desde el 21 al 25 de noviembre de 2011.

La lista se elaboró mediante una encuesta en la página web del canal hace algunos años, y puede que varios de los artistas incluídos en esta cuenta hayan tenido más que solo un éxito, pero esas cosas son de esperarse.

Como notarán, hay algunas canciones cuyos nombres están escritos en distintos colores. La razón es que en este conteo en especial, habían 2 segmentos que rendían homenajes a los artistas por distintas razones:

Esta vez, el mejor conteo especial de todos, "Las 100 Más Grandiosas Canciones Del Hard Rock". Este programa fue conducido por Bret Michaels, el líder de la banda "Poison" y protagonista del reality show de "Rock Of Love".
Hace algunos años Vh1 publicó en su página web una encuesta acerca de las mejores canciones del Hard Rock, los visitantes votaron, y así formaron este listado.
